Price cut for the PlayStation 3 and I know you have heard it a lot of times. But this time this has been confirmed by a company official.

The news came this weekend apparently, when Sony chairman and chief executive, Howard Stringer, admitted that there is “no question” that consumers want a new, pocket-friendly price for the powerful, Cell Processor enabled PS3, as Gizmodo.UK reports. The site also reveals that he praised the Wii and Nintendo’s business model, but firmly denied what everyone says about the Wii: that it’s more fun to play than the PS3. The site reports among other issues that the respective price drop for the PS3 is indeed coming and it will be before Christmas.
